Free Immigration Advice

WHAT: On September 10th, the Latin American Task Force, the Mercer County Bar Association and the Princeton Public Library will again sponsor the Ask-a-Lawyer Program. The long-running program, which the library hosts four times a year, offers free legal advice on immigration issues.

SO WHAT: The initiative came out of the Latino community's need for affordable legal services. Public libraries are a natural fit for a program like this because they're immigrant-friendly institutions, providing language learning resources and a sense of community in a new country.
