WHAT: Iowa's Sheffield Public Library has received $500 from the state's Elevate Advanced Manufacturing campaign to run Lego programs for kids - the goal is to promote interest in skilled manufacturing jobs.
SO WHAT: While public libraries are relatively well known for their focus on childhood education, their employment assistance is less known. This story nicely highlights both services. (And everyone loves Lego.)
