WHAT: Boise, Idaho is about to become one of only a handful of cities with a public library branch inside its city airport. Resources will be completely digital, giving travellers access to ebooks, digital magazines and the internet. You can sign up for a temporary library card if you're from out of town or simply an uninitiated Boisean.
SO WHAT: Like branches in malls, this expansion is interesting because it brings the library directly to the people. A comfortable, free-to-use access hub in an airport - where waits are long and everything is expensive - sounds like a godsend.
