Library Comic Con

WHAT: Inspired by bigger Comic Cons, the Dover Public Library in Delaware will host its own fan convention to celebrate comics, graphic novels, video games and sci-fi/fantasy franchises. Activities planned for the inaugural Dover Comic Con include a costume contest, Minecraft gaming sessions, anime movie screenings, and a discussion panel on the process of creating comic books.

SO WHAT: Unlike most Comic Cons this event is free, making it accessible to more people. The event's organizer hopes to attract library newbies and to get them involved with their library and relevant clubs (like one which is solely devoted to "Dr.Who").
